You will wonder at times how she knew about you and a particular significant other because she seems to describe you and the relationship to a T. And, when you read the last page you will wish you had read it years and a number of relationships earlier.

I have read other books on this topic which spoke to me... This book, which I got in the Kindle version, pulled it all together for me--the biology, personal values, self identity, the human quest for belonging and intimacy. The book... brought to me great understanding. I wish I had ordered the paper version with the workbook. I ended up going back and ordering it.

This Week’s Guest: Joanna Poppink, MFT

Women don’t get older, they get better! As a woman who has entered her 50’s, I can tell you this is absolutely true. But for some women, aging has its challenges. A woman needs to deal with changes in her body, heart and soul as she moves through each decade of life. Every woman has her own journey, her own story to tell. Join me and my guest Joanna Poppink, MFT as we explore all the riches, gifts, joys and sorrows that come with aging. Whether you are a woman who is older in years or will be one day, this is a topic you won’t want to miss. And for those of you that have a woman in your life who you love, this show will shed light on the mysteries that come with learning who this woman is as she journeys through life.

“Relationship Building – An Inside Job” Sunday May 5 1:30PM PST – LATalkLive

This week’s guests: Hugh Leonard, Workplace Ethics and Human Development Expert

Join us as we explore the role of relationships in contemporary lie and how easily self-knowledge can benefit and build your relationships. With so much emphasis on the external world, technology and material gains, it is easy to get distracted from what really counts—your internal world.  Your participation, as always, is welcomed. Call us at 323-247-7443, Skype at LATALKLIVE, or leave your comments on www.facebook.com/JulieOrlov.

About Hugh: Hugh Leonard is a Workplace Ethics and Human Development Expert and author of Interiority Powered. Leonard will put forth ideas from his new book Interiority Powered which refers to a word from the 4th century which St. Augustine wrote about in The Confessions. He said inner energy empowers us to become the person we are called to be so we accomplish wholeness. The book, and the workshops upon which it is based, provide tools for workers to become aware they are a center of power. By exercising that power, balance can be created between corporate interests, ordinary workers, and the community at large. The majority of business books focus on improvement of business so profits increase, Interiority Powered focuses on development of the whole person as he/she engages with their tasks.

Leonard was born in Ireland, educated in the U.S., and “Made in Japan.” During his 17 years in Japan as a Catholic priest/missionary, he founded and directed an industrial counseling non-profit for management development, high-performance teamwork, and effective collaboration between multiple-cultures in the workplace. At the same time, he taught at two universities, produced a bi-weekly radio program, and wrote five books in Japanese on interpersonal communications.

His education includes Masters’ degrees in Asian Studies, Human Resource Development, Applied Theology, and Theology. He holds certifications in Executive Coaching from the Hudson Institute in Santa Barbara, and as a Spiritual Director from Stillpoint of Pasadena.

Leonard brings to his workshops outstanding training skills in three major cultures (Asian, European, North American), and fluency in Japanese. For 8 years, Leonard lectured on Business Ethics at University of California, Riverside Extension. Leonard’s Interiority Powered is available at online booksellers Amazon.com and InteriorityPowered.com.
