You will wonder at times how she knew about you and a particular significant other because she seems to describe you and the relationship to a T. And, when you read the last page you will wish you had read it years and a number of relationships earlier.

I have read other books on this topic which spoke to me... This book, which I got in the Kindle version, pulled it all together for me--the biology, personal values, self identity, the human quest for belonging and intimacy. The book... brought to me great understanding. I wish I had ordered the paper version with the workbook. I ended up going back and ordering it.

“The Aftermath of Affairs: Healing as a Couple” - Sunday October 27, 1:30PM PST - LATalkLive

This Week’s Guest: Todd Creager, LCSW

Affairs happen. There are many reasons why people go outside their committed relationship or marriage to seek connection. Sometimes it's sexual, sometimes emotional, sometimes psychological and many times all three. It can be about what's wrong or missing in the relationship or about what's wrong or missing in the individual, or both.

Regardless, once a partner or spouse finds out about a betrayal, the relationship goes into crisis. There are many issues to understand and tasks to address before a couple can heal. Some relationships will survive, some will thrive, and some will end. Join me and my guest Todd Creager, LCSW as we explore what it takes to recover from the aftermath of an affair. If you or someone you know has gone through a betrayal, it's important to know that it doesn't have to mean the end;  the crisis can be transformed into the beginning of something better. With the high percentage of people in committed relationships admitting to having an affair at some point in their lives, this is a show you won't want to miss.
