I have read other books on this topic which spoke to me... This book, which I got in the Kindle version, pulled it all together for me--the biology, personal values, self identity, the human quest for belonging and intimacy. The book... brought to me great understanding. I wish I had ordered the paper version with the workbook. I ended up going back and ordering it.

“The Fraud Police” According to Amanda Palmer

My daughter sent me a link to Amanda Palmer’s Class of 2011 commencement speech at The New England Institute of Art. I had already become a fan of her music and independent spirit through my 15 year old daughter, Tanya. However, after listening to her speech, my appreciation of her authenticity and down to earth common sense was cemented. Self-Love

A lot of people say you have to love yourself before you can love another. I’m not sure I agree with that statement. I think our capacity to love goes beyond our sense of self-worth. I do believe that the quality of your relationships with others depends on the quality of your relationship with yourself. So here are some things to remember in the pursuit of self-love.
